Elemental my dear friends

January 18, 2010

I really fancy an antique piece of furniture to inject some warmth into our flat. Sadly, what could possibly pass as junk in a small town is quite rightly recognized in London…and given an approprately exhorbinate price tag to match. Ouch.

Still, one day… My favorites from elemental antiques are the upcycled drawer cabinet for £1560 (400 quid saving), a german 1930’s printers cabinet for £1800, a rustic ladder for £145 and the uk 60’s school table for £475. You can also visit their blog, or their shop (see below) in person in Spitalfields, London.

Neato! I love the pyramid look of the first drawer cabinet.

Great link – cheers! Love the style of industrial pieces, and have one or two here (but definately sourced via the one person’s junk is another person’s treasure lovely twist of fate).

Thanks for spreading the word. jules

Yes!!! The printer’s cabinet is exactly how I want it to be, now I simply have to find 1800… Lovely post, thank you!
